Yoga to Strengthen the Core and Protect the Spine
A strong core is essential for a healthy spine, especially in yoga practice because too much flexibility can lead to injury. As a yoga teacher, you can increase students’ awareness of what the core is and how to activate it during practice. You will learn how to assess core strength and spinal control in the most common poses and how to properly progress your students. We will explore how you can correct your student’s alignment now so they have healthier spines in the future. Specific spinal conditions will be discussed with suggestions for modifications. This workshop is for teachers and students with at least 1 year of experience. CEUs certificate will be provided upon completion of the training.

Anatomy on the Mat   
This workshop is delivered in a fun and creative format so you can expand your current understanding of anatomy and how it specifically relates to yoga. Crystal will teach you how to ‘see’ beyond the basics of muscle names and actions to assess movement on the mat. You will learn to identify the common dysfunctional movement patterns and how to help your students make easy corrections to avoid those patterns. You will develop a deeper experience of your own yoga practice and additional confidence in your abilities as an instructor. You will not want to miss this! This workshop is for teachers and students with at least 1 year of experience. CEUs certificate will be provided upon completion of the training.
